DURATION
10 classes
120 min each, 15 min break
FREQUENCY
Two times a week, after work. Exact days and time will be decided with the group.
The whole course will be finished in two months.
LANGUAGE
The course is available in English and Russian.
TUITION
The tuition cost is 250,000 AMD.
CERTIFICATE
Participants will receive a joint certificate of completion from GINUS Wine Hub and Maran Winery.
EXTENSIVE WINE TASTING
Every class has a wine tasting experience, with invited lecturers also contributing to the program. Participants will taste about 30 wine samples in total.

Avag Harutyunyan, PhD
Lecturer
Avag studied and defended his PhD thesis at the All-Union Institute of Viticulture and Winemaking “Magarach” under Professor G. G. Valuiko’s leadership.
President of the National Wine Center, author of more than 90 scientific articles and 4 monographs. Headed the Armenian Association of Winemakers for over 20 years.
For many years he taught “Wine Technology” and in recent years he teaches “Wine Culture”. Founding father of Armenia’s terroir concept, studied and defined the main valuable zones of Armenia. Founder-director of “Maran” winemaking company.
Frunz Harutyunyan, PhD
Lecturer
Winemaker, consultant. Trained in some of the best wineries in Europe, in particular Chateau Mouton Rothschild.
Author and co-author of papers in local and international scientific periodicals. Current research areas include rare varieties and crafting the vision of high-altitude viticulture and winemaking in the context of global warming.
Author of the Halde underwater wine.
